- Introducing the Pack 3843 Spring Fundraiser!
- Now through April 13th, Oostburg Cub Scout Pack 3843 is holding our spring
fundraiser. We are working with the Backyard Boys Woodworking company where we will be selling their line of
bird and squirrel feeders along with their bird and bat houses. These are the exact same products you will
find at stores like Fleet Farm and Stein's Gardens, but we will be selling them for less! We will also be
selling our own special "Cub Scout Blend" of bird seed.
- How much?
- For this fundraiser, EVERY product on the sheet costs less than $20, and
there are 5 products for $10 or less. As you can see, this line is priced very reasonably, with no sacrifice
in quality. Our "Cub Scout Blend" bird seed is available for $5 per 5lb bag.
- How do I order?
- If you are interested in ordering something from us, you can contact any of
one of our scouts. If you don't know anyone in our pack, just send us an e-mail at
cubmaster@oostburgscouts.org and we will be happy to take your
order. An electronic copy of the product sheets can be found by clicking the links below.
- Where does the money go?
- All of the profits from this sale benifit our local pack and our scouts directly.
Running a quality scouting program costs money, and part of the procides will go to off setting these costs.
Money will also be used for paying for pack outings, summer camp, and meeting expenses. Part of the profits will
go into an account to help our individual scouts pay for scouting related expenses. When you support scouting,
everyone wins!

Here is a picture of the "Cub Scout Blend" birdseed. It is a mixture of
cracked corn, milo, white millet and black oil sunflower. The primary species attracted to it would be Cardinals, Jays, Grosbeaks,
and Siskins.
