The Lambeau Field Overnighter was a BLAST!!! We got to tour the stadium, including the luxury boxes and "The Tunnel" that the players come out of, we got to
stand on the "Frozen Tundra", and we got to sleep in the Packers Hall of Fame!!! A big thank you goes to all of the parents who went along, especially those
who drove to and from the event. Also, a Big THANK YOU goes to Committee Chairperson Dave and Den Leader Logan, who led the event in my absence. I am so bummed
that I couldn't go, but I am really happy that everyone had a good time. I have a recieved a few e-mails about lost articles, so if you find extra stuff, please

2010 Oostburg Christmas Parade
December 1, 2010 - Posted by: Cubmaster Jason
A big THANK YOU goes out to all of the scouts, leaders and parents who helped us build our float, and who marched with us in the parade. Our float turned
out GREAT, and we had a really good turnout of scouts and parents to help us march! The parade was a little cold, but I think everything went great. The
Oostburg Cub Scout Pack 3843 was very well represented in the parade! Our pack also has to say thanks to Rob at Times Custom Graphics for donating a
banner to the pack! The parade was the first outing for the banner, and it looked great! Thanks again!
November Pack Meeting
December 1, 2010 - Posted by: Cubmaster Jason
Our November Pack meeting is always a very popular one! For every $100 in popcorn a scout sells, they get to throw a pie at one of our leaders. This year,
there were over 85 pies thrown at Assistant Cubmaster Brandon, Cubmaster Jason, and Den Leader Mark. This meeting is obviously one of our messiest, and
my sincere thanks goes to the leaders and parents who stayed and helped clean up after the meeting! Click on the picture to see a larger version of it.
Scouting For Food
October 25, 2010 - Posted by: Cubmaster Jason
Thank you to everyone from Troop 843 and from Pack 3843 who came and helped with the 2010 "Scouting For Food" annual food drive. Many hands made
light work, and our task was done very quickly. Also, without the support of the community, this drive wouldn't be possible. The Oostburg Scouts
would like to thank Oostburg and the surrounding area for their continued support of this worthy cause. If we missed you or you missed us, and
you would still like to donate, there is still time! Either drop your donation off at the American Legion Hall in Oostburg, or contact Cubmaster
Jason at cubmaster@oostburgscouts.org
Summer Camp Was A BLAST!
Updated August 5, 2010 - Posted by: Cubmaster Jason
Summer camp 2010 is in the books, and all I can say is WOW! We had fun! All of the scouts who went to camp earned beltloops and Webelos pins,
shot BB guns, Archery, went swimming, and had lots of fun around the campfires! Our whole group earned the Awase Award, so along with the award,
we got a "100% Awase Award" ribbon to put on our pack flag. I would like to thank my adult leaders, Marylin, Greg, Mark and Jim for coming along
and helping make camp run smooth. I couldn't have done it without you guys! So, now that camp is over, where do we want to stay next year?

Although the clouds were dark, the weather held out and everyone had a BLAST at Bay Beach! We spent a couple hours at the Bay Beach Wildlife

some! Mmmmmm..... We also give a big shout-out to Marble the cat, for making us feel so welcome.

Geocaching with the Cub Scouts
updated: September 27, 2009 - Posted by: Cubmaster Jason
Any idea what is located at N 43° 39.878 W 087° 49.272? Well, it was the location of our September Pack meeting!
Everyone got a taste of Geocaching, with Den Leader Logan going over the basics of the hobby. We then split up into
groups and found our own Caches with delicious treats inside! We ended with a campfire and smores, and then more awards
than I have ever seen! For more information on Geocaching, visit geocaching.com.
