3... 2... 1... BLASTOFF!!!
July 11, 2008 - Posted by: Assistant Cubmaster Jason

Rockets What could be better than a day launching model rockets? Launching them with a bunch of friends! Our Third Pack 3843 Rocket Launch will take place on September 6th, starting at Noon. Mission Control will again be located at the Gibbsville Baseball Diamond. This will be an open event, so bring your friends! Although you DO need a parent present to participate, you do not have to be in Scouts. Just bring a parent and a rocket! Like last year, all you will need to bring is your rocket, a couple of engines and some recovery wadding.

The Popcorn Colonel Wants YOU!
August 22, 2008 - Posted by: Committee Chairperson Jane

Its coming up fast! Preparations for the 2008 popcorn fundraiser are in full swing, and soon we will be out selling popcorn. Committee Chairperson Jane (who is also our "Popcorn Cornel") is looking for a helper for this year, and possibly someone to take it over next year. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who really wants to help the pack, but not necessarily become a full time leader. Interested? Check out the Popcorn page for more information.

"Leader Stuff" page is now "Akela's Stuff"
August 24, 2008 - Posted by: Assistant Cubmaster Jason

I always thought the name "Leader Stuff" is kind of misleading, because the page had a lot of great stuff on it for parents and adult partners too. So I changed it! Akela is the name the Cub Scouts use to refer to parents and adult partners, so the "Leader Stuff" page is now the "Akela's Stuff" page! Patch placement guides, medical forms, Pack policys, its all there! Check it out.

The New Zoo On August 23rd we took a trip to the New Zoo in Green Bay, what a blast! We got to make some toys for the Lynx and the Lions, and then we got a "behind the scenes" tour of the Zoo and animal hospital area. Sunday morning we got to watch the Lions attack the "Zebra" we made on their Webcam!
